I think that Brady was accomplishing being a good friend because, he wanted to protect his friends and his family, The text says ,’’The way I looked at it I was protecting J.T. and Digger and my parents as well’’
Brady threw away the drill because,his friends wouldn’t get in trouble, and neither would he. In the text is says, “The way I looked at it, I was protecting J.t. and Digger and my parents as well.’’
Brady wanted to throw the drill away. This is what it says, “the way I looked at it, I was protecting J.T. and Digger and my parents as well.” To add to that it says, “Now unless I open my mouth, no one would never know, I thought.”
What I thought Brady accomplished was the fact that he would have to go throw all that stuff from the past again and get accused for Ben’s death and then go to juvie and it said in the text that,”you can't prove anything and if you turn the drill in you'll be pressed to.”
Brady thinks he is going save J.T.,Digger,his parents from being charged for murder. In the text it says.’’ the way i looked at it i was protecting J.T.,Digger and my parents."
Brady thought if he threw the drill away, he thought he or his friends wouldn’t get in trouble also, he thought that he would make his friends save. In the text it says, “I just took the drill out of the bag and throwed the drill three feet deep.”
The reason Brady threw the drill away because he’s probably trying to be a good son to his dad and a good friend to J.T and Digger. The text says,’’The way I looked at it, I was protecting J.T and Digger and my parents as well’.
Chapter 20 I think Brady is accomplishing something by throwing the drill in the water because he is helping his friends and his family. In the text it says that’’ Brady was protecting J.T ,Digger and his family from getting them in trouble’’.
