I think it makes readers feel kind of mad sad and angry because i mean it was very heartbreaking for me because he was safe and sound when he did not tell the truth but it was the right thing to do.
Us, the readers makes us feel anxious and sad about Brady trying to pull up the red kayak with his dad because when his dad pulled the kayak out, I was nervous to see Brady’s dad’s reaction when he saw there was holes drilled in it.
Chapter 23 Brady is the narrator so we know how he feels when they pulled the red kayak up from the river and how his dad was feeling to when he seen the holes in the red kayak when they pulled it from the river and when they looked at it . When we read the red kayak it makes me feel so happy to read it because I just want to know what is going to happened in the story next.
I think Brady feels very nervous and anxious to get it over with.I would feel like that to or not said anything at all to my dad.I would just keep the drill hidden and not tell any body about anything.I would be the smart kid in the grape vine or the sharpest knife in the cabinet I would be a certified liar.
It made me feel surprised because Brady thought there weren’t going to be any holes in the red kayak,but there were three holes. In the text it say “ the glue last thirty minutes”. It has been months, days, and weeks. Brady thought they weren’t going to find the kayak and that make him surprised and gility when the holes were in the bottom of the kayak.
How this makes me feel mad and sad because i didn't know he was going to tell his dad thats why i am mad and the reason why i am sad is because Brady's dad found out about the holes in the red kayak and that’s how i feel.
I think it makes us, readers feel a little sad because we wanted to hear the whole story instead of the part that the author was going to write it. For me it’s ok because I dont need to see all parts.
It changes the story because in the beginning brady was all innocent and nothing bad Happen until the red kayak sinks and after a while he finds the drill it has his fingerprint And his was his first idea. it makes up very obnoxious because we want to know if they Will call the cop or not and we what to know the whole story. Brady feels surprised just like me when he found out that the red kayak had holes on the bottom. Also Brady’s dad was surprised, and mad. I am so anxious to finish reading the rest of the book.

The way Brady feels makes me nervous because when the chapter ended he told his dad everything about the kayak.
