Determine the meaning of the phrase on page 102, "When he turned and our eyes met, I could see the pain he had bottled up inside."

  2. What the book means[ the pain is bottled up inside him] means that all the pain is inside him and he doesn't want his pain to leave or show up on his so other people to notice is. That is what [the pain is bottled up inside him] means.

  5. I think the phrase on page 102 ‘’He had a lot of anger bottled up ‘’ means he had a lot of anger but he couldn’t let it all out and it was all stuck in there waiting to get out.

  6. In page 102 bottled up inside means you're keeping your feelings inside. Like when you get mad, and you keep your feelings inside, and don’t say anything.
